Didn't Dick Cheney almost lose a guy to a turkey?

Yes I've lived in Turkey and actually found DigiTurk, one of their  
satellite services, fed
to a 21" Philips monitor, to be pretty good.   But some channels were  
much better than
others, in terms of image quality, and rather than define what I mean  
by that, I'll just say
that I see the same thing in the US, in fact some of the compressed  
video and time-shortened
films just look horrible.  Then if you really want to get into it,  
let's talk about TMC and
colorization... I had somehow shielded myself from this for years I  
guess and then in Brazil
was using a system on which that was the only channel with decent  
films.   Absolutely extremely
painful  to watch some old Cagney films.
