[Tig] eyesight- lenses

I'm picking up my first pair of these this weekend. So this thread has been
interesting.

My script is exactly the opposite to Rob's: +1.50 and +1.75. I was leaning
in towards my computer monitor and consequently getting backache. Bigger
screen didn't help,  nor did better chair.

I've tried bifocals for distance/reading, and hated them. I wanted them for
screenings, couldn't see fine detail on the cinema screen and make notes at
the same time. But my optometrist assures me that these will be quite
different. We'll see . . . ;-)

I've detected a potential issue with my distance vision: following where the
golf ball goes. Fortunately I can't hit the things far enough for it to be a
problem.
